This is not a meal. Leptin is a hormone produced in our fat cells that tells your brain we have enough energy stored in our fat cells for normal metabolic processes. Have you ever gone into a calorie deficit and seen great results initially only to have them slow or stop? This is due to lower leptin levels causing negative metabolic adaptations.
