Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Confession… I have a HUGE sweet tooth! This has definitely been my biggest challenge in living a healthy lifestyle. I have tried countless “healthy and clean” recipes and am often very disappointed and left asking myself if this healthy person had left their taste buds along with their unhealthy ways. After all, what’s the point in a healthy treat if it doesn’t satisfy your craving? Enter this creation😍 This bowl of amazingness is my go-to and has stopped me from reaching for copious amounts of processed and sugar filled #*~¥!!! (Most the time😜😂). The main ingredient, Avocados 🥑 – 100% cholesterol free, contribute nearly 20 vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients; one serving offers 8% DV of fibre, less than one gram of sugar(lowest fruit) and help the body absorb fat-soluble nutrients. In addition to making your hair and skin glow, win-win😜 Recipe for Chocolate Avocado Mousse: one ripe avocado, 1-3 tablespoons of cocoa, 1-2 scoops of chocolate protein powder(recommend whey for this), 1/4 to 2/3 cup of milk of choice, stevia or xylitol to sweeten to taste, can top with additional chocolate or berries etc. Blend all ingredients in a food processor or high powered blender. Serves 2, or one😜 I have seen variations of this with Greek yogurt, do not attempt, tastes bitter and affects texture. I don’t recommend tofu often as it is so processed but it is an ok substitute for the avocado. Let me know how you like it!
